Well we have a 5 min time slot to play one song in front of our school, and it needs to impress a ton of people. We really dig classic rock and some relatively newer like DMB, RHCP, and the likes. We keep arguing and **** and its terrible, so what song could we play that would impress a bunch of high school kids that within the spectrum of our musical liking? Throw one out there

what are your skills like? you could impress people by doing something complex, but if you cant, do something simple that everyone knows, just not smells like teen spirit. ZZ top, aerosmith, that sort, that always works well.

Eye Of The Tiger is the obvious choice here.

If it's RHCP, do something awesome live, like 'Soul To Squeeze'.

If you like RHCP, do Sir Psycho Sexy. With all the lyrics. And see what the teachers say.

Failing that, Aerosmith's Walk This Way always does the job pretty well.
