i use a vox ad50vt amp and i run it through a dunlop crybaby boss ds-1 and boss cs-3 and into my jay turser warlock. I was practising with a band td and my amp sounded good and loud when i used wah but when i tried using my ds-1 it got much quieter(i had wah on bypass) and i had 2 turn it off because it was to soft. Can someone can help me with it i'd appreaciate it.

where is the Level knob set? Try messing with that.

Yeah. Don't all Boss pedals have one?

I HAD THE EXACT PROBLEM. unscrew the bottom of your ds-1 pedal and check if the motherboard is touching the metal of of bottom that you unscrewed. if so, put some guitar picks in there to keep the two from touching and screw the bottom back on.

Are you using it in front of the amp (like pretty much everyone does) or in the effects loop?
