So I'm building a sort of Jaguar w/ a Squier Strat neck (25.5" scale) and I've looked up some info on stewmac. They say the distance from the face of the nut to the center of the first screw on a bridge is a certain distance, but I'm not sure if it is right.

Is the distance from the face of a nut to the first screw on a Tele-style bridge 25.750"?

Thanks for the help, if anyone can get me measurements that'll rock.

EDIT: Heres a pic for clarification:

Is it 25.750" to the first screw, right in front of the pickup, or to the back screws?

Mounting screws for the bridge itself, not the pickup's mounting screws. That'd be one of the 4 back screws.
