While I was carrying my guitar case, my guitar slipped out, fell over and the nut cracked. I've been looking at musiciansfriend and found these two replacement nuts:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Vintage-StratTele-Nut-Blanks?sku=361335
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-LSR-Roller-Nut?sku=361268
I was just wondering how easy/difficult it is to replace a nut by yourself. Or should I take it into a shop?

By the way, my guitar is a Fender Mexican Strat.

You busted a nut?

Sorry, um just glue it using some crazy glue. I did it, takes about 40 or so seconds to dry, but hold on pretty damned good until you get a replacement.

What do you mean get a replacement?

Also, how do you get the broken nut off the fretboard?

The roller one isnt going to be just pop it in and go probably would need a mod to the neck to fit. The bone nut would not do you much good as its unslotted. And you wont be able to put slots in it with household tools. Its a bit of an art to cut one right. Try stewmac they have the preslotted ones. But your best bet is just to pay someone to do it for you.

Just buy a replacement nut...

If it's cracked, replace it. You just pull it off to remove it.

I looked on the Stewmac site:

Should I just go with bone, or are there better choices?

Which of the three "Fender-style profiles" would fit my Fender Mexican Strat?
