I woke up this morning after a party to find that the head of my guitar was basically snapped in half to where three of the tuning knobs are detached (two are still attached to a single piece of wood). Is this fixable or am I ****ed?

i'm afraid so. =[

the head fits back together.. if I super-glued it/metal tied it/duct tape (lol), would it still work?

Edit: The issue is, it is completely possible it was me. I woke up in my room with no pants, missing shoe, and hershey's chocolate.

Yeah...

Attaching the tuning pegs to the rest of the guitar would require some very strong glue, methinks.

lol thats why I dont go to parties like so...try glueing it and putting some sort of metal behind to bind both peces, but I think it would just be better to get a new guitar.

if you replace the neck it's fixeable... but it's probably not worth it. time to go guitar shopping!

whoa whoa whoa.

Pictures first. If its just the headstock, it is indeed fixable, and likely not too expensive either.

Gear:
Partscaster/Tele into a bunch of pedals, a Maz 18 head, and a Z Best cab.

Check the attached picture. The red circle part is what is broken off. The neck is NOT damaged, only the head.

Weigh the cost of a repair (there is almost always a fix for every problem, and this is no different) against the cost of the guitar. You are not equipped in either experience or tools to take this on yourself (especially not without proper study). No offense, but ask a luthier to give you an estimate. And next time; put your guitar away before you open the bottle.
Sincerely, Chad.

Does the break look anything like this?

If so, it's a pretty straight forward fix for someone with the right tools and knowhow. Find that someone, suck up your pride and tell them it broke at a party, by you maybe, and see what they can do for it. (I just hate that picture, and a Gibby none-the-less!)

Good heavens! It looks like a vintage The Paul series! Breaks my heart; I own a vintage '78 one, myself.
Sincerely, Chad.

Taking it to a Luthier would be the way to go. I've seen some pretty bad damage to the headstock be fixed so if its anything like that picture posted, it can be done.
And Happy B'day for tomorrow.
