ive got a BC rich warlock the metal master one ...the one with the ugly white tribal thing...i dont really like it but i dont want to sell it either so i was thinking if i could paint black over the white stuff.
possible? what kind of paint should i use? and would i have to chip off all of it then paint..or can i just paint over it.

It's pretty straightforward:
1. Remove the hardware and tape the neck/fretboard
2. Scuff sand the top with 220 grit to remove the glossy clear, then finish with 400 grit.
3. Wipe off the dust with a damp cloth and dry
4. Spray the Black colorcoat. Wait an hour or so. Wetsand if you have orange peel. Spray more Black if necessary. Once perfect, let it dry for an hour.
5. Spray the clearcoat, 3X one after the other. Wait an hour.
6. Do #5 above two more times.
7. Re-assemble or wait 2 weeks so you can buff/polish to a mirror shine.
