Can you guys name a couple of brands that makes 8-stringer replacement strings. My favourite brand when I use a normal 6-stringer is Elixir because they last really long and anti-rust, but I don't think they have any for 8.

8 strings aren't that popular yet but you could call elixir customer service and find out

Also caught her playing fallout boy on my guitar, changed my strings and cleaned it the next day.

8 strings....? just look for individual gauges. What is it tuned to?

I found that with Elixer they dont go anywhere heavy enough to retain tension at F#, i think the heaviest they do is just over a 70, but if you like that then hey, but i prefer more of an 80 at F# on my 8.

I using Daddario 10.5-48 + 64 + 80 currently
