Well I've put it off long enough, I'm ready to actually learn about theory and all that good stuff. I've been playing guitar for a good bit now(3 or 4 years) but I've never actually learned any theory. Besides a couple of scales and chords, I don't really know a whole lot. What are some books(not websites) that will help me learning basic to intermediate theory for guitar?

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Music Theory.

I second that. I bought that a few years ago. Great book.

The Guitar Handbook helped me alot in that area but there are better books out there that deal with music theory I'm sure.
