Snakes On A Plane - Red Bull freaking EVERYWHERE!

Talledega Nights - The dinner scene - KFC, Dominos, Taco Bell etc etc. Plus all the sponsers decorating the racesuits, cars etc.

Pooping is well good though, to be fair.

I've got a handle on the fiction.

Bad Boys 2. A Giant pepsi truck drives around in one of the scenes.
And Crank. The guy raids the servo for cans upon cans of red bull at one point.

I Robot - The converse shoes, this is probably the most blatant example I can think of.

The recent Bond films. Razors, cars, watches...

Long time no see, Meta.

Hey man, how goes?

Speaking of Bond watches, this seems a good place to mention that I actually own the same watch Daniel Craig wears in Casino Royale.

Was my 21st birthday present.

I can't read it at school to check, but I rememebr Maddox talking about it, so he should have some examples from I Robot on this page:

I can't really blame the stupid amounts of product placement there, it lets them have a massive fuck-off budget after all. Even though the budget was used badly in the Brosnan era-"EXPLOSION OLOLOL"

And that watch is cool. Is it Omega? I can't remember.

Omega Seamaster

Still, when it comes to product placement, even Bond falls a poor second to Talledega Nights. Srsly.

"The Italian Job" is a 90 +/- minute advertisement for Mini Coopers.

And my feeling is, it's alright as long as it's not turning the movie into a commercial. I look around myself right now, and just in my office I see a Zenith logo, a Samsung logo, a Neutrogena logo, a Altec Lansing logo, etc. We see brand-related images all the time in everyday life. A movie that lacked them would seem kind of unrealistic, actually.

They had the option to use Fiats. They were offered an unlimited amount of them, but they chose the Minis because they're so iconic.

Whereas the new Italian Job sucks more than a vacuum cleaner with a puffer fish on the end.

Do NOT use Pulp Fiction. That's my advice. Tarantino is vehemently against product placement (hence the appearance of Red Apple cigarettes in all his films) and the BK Mcdonalds convo isn't about product placements, it's just part of a conversation and neither corporation is particularly praised. He just discusses the differences. The only chain that is praised in that film is Big Kahuna burger - a made up one. He was just using two iconic brands or the conversation wouldn't have made sense.

I recommend Bad Boys II (eg the HUGE BLUE PEPSI truck driving past them in one scene) or I, Robot (Converse all stars randomly discussed due to Will Smith's character wearing them). Both have ludicrous product placement. You could also mention the spoof product placement scene in Wayne's World if the essay lends itself to that.

Also, speaking of product placement, anyone played Fight Night 3? ****ing ludicrous amount of Burger King placement, right down to there being a BK trophy to win and the King being hireable as a trainer.
