I am so confused as of which guitar I should buy.
They are both the EXACT same price, but I can't decide which I like better.

Choice #1
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibson-Flying-V-Electric-Guitar?sku=517330
Gibson Flying V (in white)

Choice #2
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibson-Firebird-Studio-Guitar?sku=517674
Gibson Firebird Studio (in black with chrome hardware)

Everytime I decide on one, I keep going back to the other. PLEASE HELP ME!

I'd take the Firebird.... easier to play sitting down, and I just don't like the V.... so I guess I'm biased.

I'd certainly go with the Flying V, but its your choice!

It seems like you'd be happy with either one, so just pick one!

They are a little different sounding, but depends on the style of music!

If you can't decide based on that stuff, which one simply feels better in your hands?

I play almost entirely classic rock, and a tiny bit of metal (not speed metal, like metallica stuff). I've heard both could deliver, but which would be better suited for me, and my amp? (look in sig)

Well, my friend, my advice would be to try and do so. Maybe the right one will jump right out and bite you when you do that.

Or are you in the unfortunate position of being nowhere near a dealer with good stock?

you got that right. I have several dealers near me, but sadly they all have terrible stock. I am currently leaning more towards the firebird because it just seems like a better guitar, and I usually like regular shaped guitars over the crazier types.

Bummer about the dealer sitch. Well, there goes my advice. Poop.

Yeah, if you usually like regular shaped guitars, it's probably better to stick with that personal preference.

By the look of your sig you dont need any more bloody guitars!

And if youre buying any more you should deffinately be going out there and decididing for yourself firsthand.

But, firebird. Because Vs are ghey.

I'll definitely go for the V. Very realiable an TOTALY BADASS!
#19
I like V's but not the Gibson version :/. I wouldnt go with any of them, not my style really but if I had to choose I'd go with the firebird just so you can sit down and play.
Your friendship is a fog, that disappears when the wind re-directs (YEAH!)

I've played and own the firebird. Nice guitar, plays well and sounds good. I'd take it over the V but with gold hardware.
