hi i got anew epiphone standard les paul and the E and A keep rattling abit sometimes when playing is really anoying my old guitar doesnt do it how do i fix this?

Raising action, loosening truss rod.

Although, if you don't even know what can cause rattling, I would NOT recommend doing anything to your truss rod.

Get it set up at a shop.

Be careful. How old is that Epi?
Mine was 2 years old and at the end all strings started rattling when played, no matter if they were new or not. They couldn't even solve it at the shop.
And my friend's G-400 also had this problem. So it can be a common flaw of older Epis.


PS: by how old I mean what year was it made, not when did you get it, by the way.
