I have trained a live tarantula to calm and sit on my guitar due to the awesome powers of my rocking. When I am not playing it angrily bounces about my room hitting everything that isn't me.

Totally agree. DP is my favorite band, Blackmore my favorite guitarist and everytime I listen to Sabbath's first album I can't help but start rocking my air guitar to Tony's riffs.
For me I would agree with:
Black Knight and The Wizard
Also Into the Fire, Living Wreck, Fools (all simple and all Dp/Blackmore)
Bloodsucker(DP) is one of my favorites
Sunshine of your love -Cream
Iron Man and Smoke on the Water of course.
Layla-Eric Clapton
many many DP, LZ and BS riffs such as: Iron Man, Paranoid, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Smoke on the Water, Lazy, Pictures of Home, Highway Star and more
Interstellar Overdrive by pink floyd or Love me 2 times by the doors.
Layla, Sunshine of Your Love- Clapton

I Can't Explain- The Who (Townshend)

Up Around the Bend- C.C.R. (Fogerty)

And non-classic rock: Dissident- Pearl Jam
Please don't confront me with my failures. I had not forgotten them.
Simple but up there as some of the best riffs of all time;

Sunshine of your love - Cream
Smoke on the water - Deep Purple
Iron man - Black Sabbath
