I wouldn't get it cause of the Agathis body, got any others you like?

Not really, it's got a cheap ESP Licenced Floyd, lousy pickups, and it's made of Agathis. It's also a signature, and is therefore about $100 more than it should be.

The LTD is not a good guitar, the Ibanez will really depend on the trem. LFR can be good, or they can ruin your guitar. So try before you buy! The pickups on either one will probably need to be replaced as they're not going to be great.

Even though I hate Ibanez, I'd have to say out of those two go with it.

Fine guitar for the price range and an excellent workhorse. Hard to find a bad review of it. Excellent neck action (It's an SG man) so it seems it'll fit your thrash needs.

This ones a tad nicer.

I don't hate Ibanez for the most part, it's the necks. Those super thin necks kill my wrist, I can play much better and more comfortably on something with a neck resembling that of a baseball bat compared to the Wizard II neck. It's a preference thing, there's nothing wrong with them, I just don't like the feel of the majority of them.

Alright I can respect that.
