As some of you know, especially howey!, i've been searching for new guitar, maybe a ESP M-200 but i just decided, stuff it!

I want an eclipse! But do ESP's make EC's with floyd rose?

no, they do not unless you get one custom. but why have LP class with a floyd? it just looks weird IMO.

What music do you play?

You can try a KH-3 if you can find one used since I don't think that they make them anymore. Its not exactly an eclipse but google it, you might be interested.

Because having a guitar that looks "weird" renders it useless.

If you want an Eclipse with an FR, ask ESP to make you one, it very well may rock like no other.

Look into Edwards. They make the E-EC-150E, which is essentially an Eclipse with a floyd.
Heads will roll. Throats will be slit. Blood will flow like springs of water.

I just got saying this in another thread. I have an Eclipse II, one of my main guitars. BUT, my main main guitar IS a Soloist SL2H-MAH (But i replaced the floyd with a Kahler) Its the best playing guitar out there, imo.

Yep. Edwards is supposedly the Japanese version of LTD, though some would argue that the quality of Edwards is as good as or even better than that of ESP standards.

ESP Make one. However you'd have to get it imported, I saw it in a catalogue I picked up in a guitar shop in Germany. It's called the Eclipse-I CTM FR. I'm not 100% sure if they still make it, but the catalog was published last year, so I'm sure there'll be some floating around.

Doesn't look weird either. Looks pretty fit if you ask me.

i would go ahead buy it, then have it retrofitted with a kahler trem. i think kahlers look better on LP style guitars.

Australian site though. But they do make one.

The Edwards site has that as well for a list price of $1500.

To be honest the only reason I bought an RG over an Eclipse is the fact that I can't stand not having a floating trem under my palm. If I could get my hands on a Floyded Eclipse I'd buy it. They're a bit expensive on both sites though.
