i wanan get some info on some good metal style guitars my budget would probably be abotu 1000 bux and obviously i like to play allot of metal and hard rock please give me your info

Through what amp to play what kind of metal.

Preference on neck size would be helpful.

Unless you have a great amp, I'd suggest using the money to get a nice valve combo. A cheap guitar through a good amp sounds better than a great guitar through a bad amp.

I suggest you spend about 400 on a guitar, and 600 on a good amp.

I personally would use all 1000 bucks on a great amp. The guitar seems fine at the moment. If anything, new pickups? That's all it would need for metal.

Although, what kind of metal?

Try the LTD M-1000 or MH1000. It's nice to have great tone, but in my opinion I'd rather have a guitar that feels good than an amazing amp.
