I've never played with a tube amp before and am curious if a fuzz box will sound different if it is ran through a tube amp instead of a solid state amp
some amps take pedals bettar than others...as a rule of thumb any tube amp will usually take a pedal better than a SS...also, fuzz and OD sound great to saturate a tube amp
Yup, definitely. Fuzz boxes sound the best when they boost a bit overdriven tube amp, and IMO they sound pretty awful through solid states. Other fx pedals might sound different as well, especially that tube amps naturally compress the sound when cranked up.
