hi , Ive recently been getting a lot of feedback from my amp and the only way i can get rid of it is if i turn the volume on my guitar down to about 1-2 but doing this makes me lose a lot of gain. So i was wondering , what do u guys do 2 get rid of feedback ?? got any tips and tricks You wish 2 share ???

Noise gate won't always help much, if the feedback is loud enough to trigger it. facing away from your amp and standing as far aay as possible will of course help.

Is it more of a harsh, squealing feedback, or one that sounds like a loud sustained note?
