I really don't know but as far as I know there's only one drum kit in gp6, but you can really modify it a lot with the equalizers and by choosing how hard you're hitting the drum like mf,f,ff,fff or something like that

Right. This post has been necro'd before, but it has never been resolved. Let me resolve it for you by using my own notes:

Tested on samples 36, 40 and 57 (standard kick, snare and crash)

0 - default midi
16 - heavy kick
24 - electronic 1
25 - electronic 2
40 - jazz brush kit
48 - orchestral kit
56 - Rap TR808 Drum Kit

Have to guess which of the above with these below.

Official names:

Standard Drum Kit #1
Room Drum Kit #9
Power Drum Kit #17
Electric Drum Kit #25
Rap TR808 Drums #26
Jazz Drum Kit #33
Brush Kit #41

Brush kit notes:

Includes a Brush Tap, Slap and Swirl

Please comment if this helped anyone. Transcribing music such as Warcraft's themes? Using kit 48. Doing a nice jazz tune? Use kit 40. Doing a gangsta rap beat? Use kit 56. Composing an 80's style electro tune? Use kit 24 etc. etc. etc.
