I've been eyeing this bass for a while, and wanting to know how are the quality of these things? For 250 euro ($500USD) do you think this would be a decent bass to have? If so are there any online US dealers?

Edit: oooooh lookie

I have played a lot of that brands products, And most of them suck if I'm honest. It would be a massive step down for you if you're currently playing a American P-Bass.

My advice, Use the money to help buy a nice amp

I tried one in the shop and I didn't like it one bit. Sloppy fretwork and the basic set up was way off. For about € 100,- to € 150,-, it would have been acceptable; for € 250,- you can have a much better guitar than the one I tried. It could have been a rare lemon though, so I would not advise against buying one perse, but merely against buying one on line.

Cheapy basses. The list prices mean shag, i got a V4fl for £150.

they're really cheap, but nice if you need a cheap bass that isn't a squier

I appreciate all the help, and I won't consider them to my friend. I'll steer him more towards Sx's then.
