Is it worth picking up one of those famed mxr eq's for my 6505? Does it make a big difference?

I like mine, altough im reverting back to an easier approach lol.. Im so sick of tweaking knobs i took it out of my chain for now and once i get my amps setup ill throw it back in.

But from what i read its works extremely well with the 6505 and is worth it...

I got one for my 5150 and gives you awesome control of your tone... if you know how to tweak them. Try to make subtle changes at first to find different sounds.

Hm. I cant decide if i should just go for it or not. Its pretty pricey, and i want to know if its more of a subtle difference or a necessity. Maybe ill see if they have one at GC or something
