im having an argument with my friend because he thinks his MG half stack is better than my cube.

what do you guys think?

im showing this thread to him, so, tell him why MG's are so bad. he doesnt seem to understand, i told him not to get it, and he gets it... just because its a Marshall and its loud, he assumes its good.

Cube.
No Contest.

EDIT: The MG is a dreadfully oversized practice amp with tinny distortion and no tonal characteristics whatsoever.

That was a little harsh, but basically, it sounds like **** compared to other amps in the price range.

It's harsh, overly sterile sounding and the effects on the thing sound like absolute turd.

It's crap quality amplifier too.

I'd say Keith Moon, because I like his style better and let's face it...

His drum solos are phenominal.

Bonham gets a bit boring with his playing. I can't bear to listen to the entire Moby Dick drum solo.
