Hello, I am mainly a classic/hard rock player like Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin but I wanted to try out a little bit of metal. I was wondering if there were any easy songs to learn in standard tuning.

By the way, I don't like Mettalica or Slipknot but I think thats it.

megadeth, dragonforce, iron maiden, skid row, dokken, tesla, motley crue?

Better than hooked on crack, I suppose. I'd rather know my kids are safe at home beating their meat than out in the world robbing old women for their crack fix.

What a huge coincidence. I have a butthole also.

Technical Difficulties - Racer X, took me a month to learn but its way worth it.

Constant Motion by DreamTheater is in standard, its pretty easy :P.

But really, look at Symphony of destruction, its very easy except for the marty solo. Its pretty generic of Megadeth though.

Are you trying to suggest Run to the Hills is not a good song :O

Hallowed Be Thy Name > Run To The Hills

Also, Holy Wars by Megadeth. That should keep you occupied.

Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden is a pretty easy riff, but it doesn't sound as good as The Trooper. So learn that. Also, Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth is really easy.

Racer X
Dokken
Sex Machineguns
Vow Wow
Megadeth
Maiden
Priest
Buckethead (his metal stuff at least, I'd look into SpiderCrawl and Welcome to Bucketheadland. Both Incredibly catchy tunes.)
