For my new strat, would these pickups be good to replace the stock ones? If not, please reccomend something better.

Strat: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-60s-Reverse-Special-Strat?sku=512595 (i got it in black, if that matters at all)

Pickups: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Seymour-Duncan-Everything-Axe-Single-Coil-Set?sku=300068

I play classic rock, alternative, blues, jazz, and some metal.
Would these pickups work for any of these genres?

those are probably a fair option
other options might be
Rails
Carvin Twinblade humbuckers
Carvin HSS prewired pickguard
EMGs (i actually like their active singles alot)
and of course you could just go HH if you wanted. the routing inside it should be HHH or HSH
CARVINITES UNITE!

I've been told SD Hotrails are really good and can handle metal, and I was looking at throwing one in my MIA strat. I'd check those out, maybe?

Thats what all the guys in Iron Maiden use in their strats, so ya, it can definetly do metal.
