ok i live in Australia and after looking around i would be a lot cheaper to buy over seas.
Any recommendations of sites that are reliable and fair priced would be great

Not a lot of sites ship internationally.

This would be your best bet.

ahh well that burst my bubble

That's how much it is to ship a guitar + case to Europe anyway, you can always mail Matt for a priceqoute. If it's without a case it'll be cheaper.

First thing is even with postage we usually end up better off.

That said usually you have to pay customs tax. That can be expencive. Also ordering any amplifiers overseas is a no-no for us as well. The voltages of our power are different and will blow the amp. A step down transformer is required and generally buying one coupled with the price of getting it here usually makes it not worth it for us.

Guitars are OK to buy overseas though. If your looking at an Ibanez got o ibanezrues.com The guy there sets up the guitars like a pro for free when you buy the guitar and he ships worldwide as far as i know.
For those who care.
