Hey, I need a new bass amp, because my 15 watt practice one isn't cutting it for my band. Could anyone recommend a good bass amp for around $300-500 US, preferably something 120+ watts. Thanks.

I asked this and was suggested Ashdown.


Look at Carvin. They seem to have a lot of wattage for less.

Edit: I ended up getting a Fender Rumble 100 and it seems to be pretty good.

I'm pretty sure there's a thread for this.

...BUT nobody there will suggest to you the SWR LA series. So I'm going to take the shot while I got it.

It was $300 for my LA15. It's a 15" and a tweeter. It's only 100w, but it's hella efficient because it can push LOUD, especially that low end, you'll feel like you're enveloped in sound. And it's a great tone on it, too.

Just throwing that out there. If you can go try it out, give it a shot.
