I hear line 6 make good recording equipment whats your opinions on the pocket pod/podXT do the amp presets sound any good or am i better off with a decent amp to record from? opinions discuss

I see a lot of those POD products in home or smaller studios but I would never buy one for a high end studio...they are just too low in audio quality.

line6 recording equipment are more like "toys" and they only really make the toneports which are the popular ones. I would say stay away from those and stick with other brands as well as interfaces that are not just 1.1USB connected.

theres the E-MU 0404 which is USB2.0 and the mackie onyx satellite along with tons of others are firewire connected which is the best type of cable to use these days since it can move a lot more data at one time compared to USB
