Probably because I have a les paul 100 epiphone? Is it?

Iunno the songs don't sound as nice. I have a 60 watt basic fender amp.

nice guitar. that's probably not the problem.

is that a tube amp?

tube amps and really expensive solid state amps make your guitar sound nice.

upload some sound clips of what you sound like.

never heard of the les paul 100 gibson, but that wouldnt really matter...its the amp that gives most of the tone, soo what amp do you use?

"Les Paul 100 gibson" probably means an Epi LP100 with the "Gibson" truss rod cover. "60 watt basic fender amp" probably means a frontman.
Both of those things=bad tone.

sorry its an epi. why does it say gibson on it though?

to make it more expensive

i think you should experiment with your eq settings, if after that, you can't get the tone that you want there's a few option, here they are in order from cheap to expensive

get an eq pedal, or one of those digitech or boss multieffects

get a better guitar, the lp 100 is a really low quality guitar

get a new amp, a decent solid state amp or a cheap tube one
