yeah so i was bored yesterday and decided to do something weird...
i decided to play a gretsch hollow body guitar through the Peavy 6505+ and honestly it sounded better than any other guitar i've tried on the peavy. it was so full rich deep and had a very beautiful tone despite the preamp being turned completely up. it had all the tone of a blues amp with a little but of crunch but yet it was still rip your head off at the same time.

just thought i'd share the suggestion and ask if anyone else has done this before.
The nice part about being a pessimist is that you are constantly being either proven right or pleasantly surprised

Also caught her playing fallout boy on my guitar, changed my strings and cleaned it the next day.

^hahaha.. I'll assume it's real, just for the sake of argument.

I like playing my AS73 semi-hollowbody with lots of gain sometimes. I agree that it has a very rich sound.
