Check out some Trivium or Avenged Sevenfold songs. Unholy Confessions and Dying In Your Arms are both Drop D, I believe.

I actually play Winds of Plague way too much.

August Burns Red is out of my ability and tuning range.

Ion Dissonance is WAY out of my tuning range. They are in G# on 7's.

Anything else?

Does melodic hardcore count? Rise Against is only in those two tunings, well rarely in one step down, but.

Prayer Of The Refugee is drop d.
Survive is standard...

Or KSE?

One of theirs is in drop d I think its temple within or something like that... ^^
O Hai der.

Someone reccomend me some tech metalcore / deathcore /metal / whatever to play.

Something other than the faceless, BTBAM, Protest the Hero, born of osiris, but around that difiiculty level would be good.

The Dillinger Escape Plan
Ion Dissonance
Ephel Duath
Into the Moat
Architects
Botch
Meshuggah
Necrophagist
Periphery
Sikth

theres plenty more, but I think this might be a good start. Fair warning, you'll have to give them time to sink in, alot of them will sound like just noise or whatever, but once you let it sink in, its really amazing. Bolded bands are my personal favs within the lot.

Already a fan of half of those bands, I was just after fun songs to play, since I'm too lazy to go through my itunes

Thanks anyways I'll look up some tabs for the ones i haven't heard yet.

Wrong.

A lot of their songs are in Eb. You can get away with playing them in Drop-D, but some of their stuff is easier in the tuning the band actually plays in.
