So, I decided I want to learn some theory since I've been just learning songs for awhile. I know absolutely nothing about theory though, so I need something that explains everything. Anyone have anything that I could print out and read in my free time?

Don;t let the big words and modes fool you, its easier than ya think.

It just looks rough at the start and it sorta is, but after while you will discover that you are doing things that fall in place inherently.

The more I look at theory more I just realise its a tool for transposing and finding different ranges where something needs to be done.

Remember theory is nothing more than another instrument on the instrument.
SO what came first?

Theory or The Instrument?
