Can copper wire be used to do a few bits of wiring in my guitar? i.e. The earth and output of a push-pull pot's switch.
When altitude dropping, my ears started popping. One more red nightmare...

Yeah, no problem. Gordon Smith use bare copper wiring for all their guitar wiring, you just gotta make sure you dont get a short anywhere if you use it bare.

I like using copper in mine. Not that it is noticeable by hear, but it will have a smoother flow than the steel braid wire or tin coated solids.

As said though, if you use bare wire, watch for ground outs and touching wires.
