I've been wanting to get a wah pedal for quite some time and I was looking at a Morley bad horsey or a dunlop crybaby.

now I haven't played either of these, so what is the general impression of each?

Thanks.

I saw go Vox.

The V848 is a killer wah.

What kind of music are you playing? Going by the Racer X reference, I'm assuming metal. Check out the Morley Bad Horsie II.

just out of curiosity, whats the difference between the bad horsie and bad horsie II?

There isn't a huge difference between the two. They're both switchless, so no worrying about changing a scratchy pot. The Bad Horsie II has the additional contour feature, where you can boost the wah frequency and adjust the sweep. You can't go wrong with the 1 or 2.

i hav played both, so here goes

crybaby - classic sound but not such a wide sweep

bad horsie- not as classic but wider sweep and no clicker

but in the end i found a wah that combines the 2

morley classic wah - classic sound and a wide sweep and handles distortion well, but still has a click button for on/off
