Well hello.
I'm thinking of buying a cheap tube amp for practicing. I already have a line spider II 30 and I hate it, thats why I want a new one.
Anyway I saw this amp and it's really cheap and full tubed. I want to play rock, blues and metal.
Do you think it can handle metal with a good distortion or overdrive? I've heard that metal muff is a great distortion. Will it work ok with this amp?
Any suggestion is welcome, but my price budget is very limited.

Its the Epiphone Valve Standard really. It is voiced toward blues and some classic rock and won't have much gain. Even with a distortion it will still sound somewhat bluesy.
