alright guys, i finally got a job with $500 so far. i'm planning to spend $1000 for my new gear, which im gonna list. im an intermediate guitar player, playing for about 3 years now. i mostly play rock & some metal, and i especially like nice clean tones and good distortion. is it overall good, and if you want, list some pro's and con's.

Epiphone Les Paul Plus Top
Vox Valvetronix AD30VT 30w 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp (with a footswitch)
Dunlop Crybaby 535Q Multi-Wah Pedal

I'm soon gonna get an epiphone les paul standard, i tried it out and seems good... dunno about the other stuff, I'm gonna get a Roland CUBE 30x

my only complaint would be the Epiphone, but even that isn't bad, and for your style i think that would be a good choice
Pretty please, with sugar on top, clean the f***ing car.
I love pulp...
Someone told me there's a girl out there
With love in her eyes and flowers in her hair...

I will find this girl.

get a Roland Cube 60. Trust me it's sooooo much better than the Vox.

If he even admits she's hot, we have another problem altogether.

my advice, ditch the wah and guitar for now and get a nicer modelling amp. im trying to save for a Line 6 Flextone. SOOOO much better then the spider, but its like 200 bucks more. since you got a decent paying job, 2 months of work for a completely new rig is sick. i wish finding a job were easier where i live

why are metal musicians prone to fatness?
Cause there music is heavy.

535q wah.

Option 2 is around 950

Judging by your 30 watt solid state amp you picked out you werent doing any gigging/jamming with a band. So I think the blackheart/J&H would be a great home/friends combo

I would go with option one but get a Crate V32 or used Peavey Classic 30 instead of the Valvekng.
