I was just wondering what festivals the Pit could recommend for me. I've got a laydown of the basics I'd like for the festivals, and this is the first year I'm going to festivals...thanks a ton!

Alternative: In other words, anything from Taking Back Sunday to Lovehatehero to Death Cab for Cutie.
Metal: This is mainly bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, etc.
Hardcore: Pretty much stuff like Bullet for my Valentine, Underoath, Demon Hunter...yeah

THANKS SO MUCH

summer slaughter fest
Running away from this earth.
May it pass away in the beautiful flames that it was created for.
Because when tomorrow fails to come,
today is just not the same.
Inflamed earth.
Roses.
In this hope.
For all i care set it all ablaze.

despit what everyone say about warped tour and how gay the bands are(which i agree with) it really a fun time, 75% of the music sucks( unless you like it that ****) and the other 25 has some good hardcore/metalcore bands like underoath and such. so you should go, its a blast running around for 10 hours in blazing hot sun with a bunch of 14 year olds

I live in the UK, but our families going back to the states in the summer anytime, we're not sure exactly when, and we travel a lot there. So recommend anything pretty much anywhere in the UK and anywhere in or to the east of the whole Texas to North Dakota border. Lots of options.

Go to This Is Hardcore over the summer in Philadelphia and learn what hardcore really is.
