So last night at the Big Easy, MXPX, Chiodos, the color fred, and protest the hero came to my town and played a big show. it was such a great show, and everyone had such a great time.

so after the show, we went outside to where the tour bus is, and the Chiodos guitarist was there, smoking a cigarette. So of course, my group went up to him, and got some pics with him, and he signed my ticket stub.

So my friend, Justin, comes up to him and goes "hey man, will you sign my bag of weed"

The guitarist goes "sure man, but first lemme get a whiff of that **** to make sure its good!"

The guitarist opens that bag, smells the weed, and goes "dang! now thats some chron.com!"

So yeah, in the end, we asked if he wanted to smoke with us, and he was like "nahhh sorry, i dont toke anymore."

After that, i was like "dang, it must be so cool to be famous" and he shouts, "nah man, im not famous"
BS lol

so does anyone else have any funny stories about meeting band members?

I'm hearing a steady *thump thump* from the people above me and I need some porno grooves to play on my bass to give them some background music. Any ideas?

What an awesome, yet very odd lineup haha. I've never really met any band members besides local bands .

yes, it was a very very odd lineup. i guess it touches mostly everyones musical tastes.

BTW, the color fred is Fred Maschinero (lead singer of Taking Back Sunday RIP) and his new band. They were really good! im pretty sure they are brand new.

I love Taking Back Sunday and The Color Fred but I think you have your facts a little messed up haha. Fred Astaire is a Taking Back Sunday song, but their former lead singer (The Color Fred frontman) is Fred Mascherino. Taking Back Sunday is still around and have a new guitarist, but they haven't announced who it was.

Chiodos, Protest the Hero and The Fall of Troy are coming to my town tonight. I want to go, but I think it's a bit late. My classmate wanted me to go with her too, cause she's apparently going alone. Nice story btw.

Chiodos? Sweet, I'm a fan, but the last album was a disappointment!

its not too late. you can buy tickets at the door. it would be so worth it. all 3 of those bands are amazing

Chiodos' cds, all 3, are pretty much amazing, but seriously. on their newest cd, 10 songs? thats pretty lame.

almost as lame as Cloverfield, being an hour and 15 minutes and all...

okay please no flaming...

Ive only met local bands. Psycroptic is a pretty famous one. The only funny thing about that is that ive seen Psycro's singer passed out hugging a teddy bear, and another time running about with only an apron on, flashing everybody he saw, all before i had even heard his music. Sweet.

I went to see Fallout Boy, and beforehand I saw Pete outside warming up, I went over and talked to him for a bit about the best type of eyeliner and got him to sign me ticket.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to put it, along with your other advice, into a book, the pages of which I will then use to wipe my ass.

wow, I laughed at the guys talking about TBS here.

fred astaire is a singer and a dancer from like the 30's. tbs had a song title with his name in it.

fred mascherino is the former lead guitarist of Taking back sunday and backup vocalist, while adam lazzara is lead.

man, all you guys were correcting him wrong. sad sad sad....

I told him if he could get the other guys down here and he was like no they are busy. I was like alright screw you bass sux anyways. I met paramore and they were pretty awesome. It was weird cuz my sister was in arizona for the show the day before and she got to meet chiodos but not see em play. got to see paramore play but not meet em. I didnt go to the show at all but i met paramore and a bunch of other bands. win eh
