i've been through pretty much every rock sub genre there is,

and now the world of electronica, drill n bass, breakcore has taken me away from the guitar..

is this a frickin' problem?

No it's not a problem, it's just how music evolves, and trust me, there will always be music that involves guitar.
I'm the same as I was when I was six years old
And oh my god I feel so damn old
I don't really feel anything

Those genres all sound like power tool brand names to me.

I don't see that it's a problem.

Guitar isnt a job, its a hobby.

If you stop doing a hobby, your life isnt ruined.

Or guitar is just a tool to get a sound you want in your type of music, if the music doesnt require a guitar, then dont use it.

You wouldnt use a jackhammer to screw a screw in would you?

Edit: I dont know what I'm talking about.

Oranges are actually a revolution though - they're the next step from Rectos IMO.

People aren't as closed minded as you think. Embrace your new found diversity, it impresses [most] people.

True. I think more of someones musical knowledge if they have lots and lots of different genres on their iPod or Zune, than someone who has just one genre on it.
I can honestly say I have really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.

I don't always post on UG, but when I do, I post in the Pit. Stay thirsty my friends.
