I just bought some nashville strings to play around with on my old guitar. Can anyone explain how to tune them?

"Nashville Tuning" can also refer to the practice of tuning the wound EADG strings on a standardly tuned six-string guitar an octave higher. This is usually achieved by replacing the standard-gauge string with the equivalent octave string from a 12-string set.


I never used those types of string before so thats all I can offer.
There's a good chance that what I've written above is useless and if you take any of the advice it's your own fault.

yeah ^ that is correct.
one of my friends set his acoustic up like this, i dont really see any benefit in it. probably because i dont sit around strumming all day. i do alot of finger picking and leads.
