So i bought this schecter omen-6 walnut satin brand spanking new and I haven't realized it until last night that the first fret gives off a very unpleasant sound.

only when i hold it very tightly is the sound gone but I highly doubt its a solution.
what can I do about this? this is on every string but low E is the worst. Advice? CONSTRUCTIVE criticism?

adjust the action, or you can bring it to a shop and describe it to them.
Blackedit: as someone above me said, the 2nd fret may be high. you just need to bring it to a shop and tell them about it.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

I think it could be the strings - use a lighter gauge!
