Hey, I was wondering, what are some songs that are evil or scary sounding to you?

The only ones I can think of right now are The Call of Ktulu and the Thing that Should Not Be.

Stalaggh. Youtube it.

Funeral doom generally has an evil/creepy atmosphere to it as well.

Oh noes.

If you wanted to know what creeps me out, that seriously does. But as I edited, Horse Latitudes creeps me out too, just the idea of a jesstioning a horse for some reason creates a dark image in my mind...

This thread needs more Candlemass. Marche Funebre by Chopin is also a cult classic. Other than that, early Sabbath, funeral doom, some Slayer songs and most classical requiems are what would qualify as scary.

Some Nirvana I find creepy. Yet I still love it.

I swear I was hearing voices one night in the dark when listening to "Come As You Are"

Usually when listening to a song with vocals, you are SUPPOSED to hear voices.

Any rock, metal, or classical song that includes a tritone I generally find it scary or evil sounding.

Raining Blood is a good example.
While looking at a guitar magazine with some friends.

Really?!

Personally I didn't find any of Bedlam in Goliath to be particularly dark at all.

Aside from Soothsayer of course,
that song is ****ing insane.

Phone Home - The Dillinger Escape Plan
Screenager - Muse
The Devil - Portugal. The Man
(pretty much every performance is different so I thought I would give one )
Poor Jackie - Man Man
Whale Bones - Man Man

And of course,
anything by Tool.

Enter an Uh by John Frusciante, or Untitled 1-13 from the and Usually a T-Shirt album. They're a bit scary to listen to alone in the dark, especially when he shrieks or does his slow deep talking. He also sounds like he's insane, which is always a plus.

Edit: Just read the rest of the thread, and a lot of stuff by Robert Johnson is freaky to listen to. Besides the fact that like every song is about the devil or something, the old school recording mixed with his voice is eerie.
