Heh, I kind of lost my tone on it.. and can't really get it back.. all the distortion sounds kind of like muddy like too much or something but if I turn it down it still does but has a kind of not enough sound at the same time.
bleh
I'm not good at the whole pre, post, normal, presence, blah blah settings on there
so what's a way I can get set them to get a nice clean sounding distortion with enough "umph" in it?

^The 50 doesn't have a boost button.
Try the Mids at 9
Bass at 7
and Treble at 5
Presence at 5

I really like it with a strat.

Nope, that's a common problem with classics.
Well, it's hard to find an inbetween tone between too much and too little OD.
Try cranking the clean channel to about 9. That'll give you a great inbetween tone.
It'll give you tinnitus also, but just wear ear plugs.

I got the same problem, the lead channel leaves something to be desired every now and then.

Usually I keep the pre around 5 and the post maybe at 2. Then turn the master up but my settings are always changing.

Also the presence and treble knobs seem to make a big difference in sound I usually keep mine up.
