**** sake, stop saying 'I cum blood' for every single thing. Its been done to much now and if your gonna mention one of their songs at least learn some other titles.

Rant over

Edit: Burn in Hell by Dimmu Borgir? Rubbish song but thats just powerchords.

You could just do the acoustic version of "Fade to Black" from the Bridge School Concerts.

Or, if you really wanna do something yourself, an acoustic version of "The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg" by Iron Maiden. I do it all the time, sounds pretty cool.

they also do a really neat version of One

and all their other stuff is also awesome

Oh wow, that's absolutely wonderful; that is what is so good about Metallica, they're very easy to modify, those guys and Apocalyptica are great examples of this.

TS, choose some Metallica, preferably from the 80s - because it's better - or Pantera, or Maiden.

yea man, who ever doesnt like pantera or think they suck doesnt like metal, end of discussion, they changed the freakin world n made history, so don't be sayin they suck, have respect, same goes for machine head n lamb of god cuz their good too

I can hear most of Megadeth's stuff being done acoustic as well

Exactly my thoughts when I saw the thread title.

TS: Any Iron Maiden song is easy without the solos. I recommend 'two minutes to midnight', as it is well known, so people will recognise it.

Look here, another Dutch Niels..

Well, you can't mould dragonforce, since it it's the hardest metal known to man (Pun intended)

Try some Breaking Benjamin, or NIN? Not really metal, but still..

I need an incredibly easy yet well known metal song, preferably powerchords.

I plan on changing the style of the song into something acoustic and slow for a musicschool assignment, but I don't really know any metal songs. So I turn to you

Help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

Raining Blood

But seriously, fade to Black since it's mainly acoustic anyway.

The Four Horsemen.

If you search around, you'll find a blues/country acoustic performance Metallica did for a radio show. It actually works very well.
