This is for my school. I need to get information about the genre "western comedy". We need stuff like famous movies, directors, plots, time periods, how it begun... ect. Do what you can.

Blazing Saddles is a perfect example of the genre. I need more info though.

Blazing Saddles. I don't care if I'm beaten to it. It's true. And History of the World Part 1 as well. . . Any Mel Brooks movie.

wait, western comedy as in, westerns that are comedies? or do you just mean western as in like American comedies?


if you mean actual westerns, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is amazing. one of my favorite movies of all time.
