This is a song anyone dealing with hard times can relate too.
Wishin it’ll be ok.
Wishin we’d get along.
Everything will go away.
Take that thought and say so long.

Kids in Tanzania
It seems no one’s here for ya.
Wishin you could stop the fight.
But kid, you must stand for whats right.
They attack your village.
Rape your mothers
Kill your brothers.
Do it for the lovers.
Who didn’t make it past.
Show your pa he raised you right.
Raise your spear
Stand up and fight.
Be the warrior you are inside.
Let out your battle cry.
Kill as many before you die.
Now you see why..
We cant get along.
Because we got to stand up to the man sittin on the high chair.
Trust me inside he’s scared cause hes too cowardly to even share….

Wishin it’ll be ok.
Wishin we’d get along
Everything will go away.
Take that thought and say so long.

Kids in the projects need some hope.
But they’re surrounded by scary men sellin dope.
A place revolved around guns and crack.
Father’s don’t come back.
Moms give their kids a smack.
This isn’t a place for a kid to be.
There’s so much more to see.
Get me out of here please.
I wanna live in peace.
One day I will make it.
When the chance comes I will take it.
I will save my brothers.
Protect my mother.
And stay away from the others.
And do whatever it takes to make us free.
From killers and thieves.
If I have to kill then I will.
If blood has to be shed.
Then I will do what I said.
If you wanna make it to the top.
Do whatever to make everyone else stop.
Whatever it takes to save.
Do it and don’t you cave.
Keep your nerve.
Stay strong.
You will soon learn.
We cant get along.

Wishin it’ll be ok.
Wishin we’d get along.
Everything will go away.
Take that thought and say so long.

Pray pray everybody
Pray pray for cousin Bonny.
She’s fightin in the army.
Let her come home.
To a town her own.
Why are they even there still.
We got Saddam, Qusay, and his brother.
Let Bonnie return to those who love her.
We miss you Bonnie.
Its actually so funny.
My life has changed since you left.
I don’t know what to do next.
I’m sorry for yellin at you that night.
Before you and the army took that flight.
You know, when we had that fight.
Raising my hand to you was not right.
And here I’m saying I’m the luckiest Dad in the world.
You’re on my mind all the time.
But now I know you are not mine.
You are an adult just like me.
And now I see.
You’re fightin fightin everyday.
Fightin fightin before you hit the hay.
You understand not everyone can get their way.
You called me sayin bob got hurt by a lobbed grenade.
Medic took him
Tried to save him.
But Bob was done with the fight.
He died that night.
Gun shots crackling in the air.
No it wasn’t fair.
He wasn’t supposed to be there.
For he was just a water boy.
His life was filled with joy.
Till the general made him tag along.
If you are lookin’ for peace in this world
Take that thought and say..
So long.

Because we’ll always be fightin fightin everyday.
Fightin fightin before we hit the hay.
When we rest for the fight next day.
We can not live in peace.
There is always someone we need to defeat.
The barbaric raiders in Tanzania.
Many soldiers fighting in Syria.
Projects and ghettos stuck in between.
If we wanna make it better.
Stand up proud and we’ll fight together.
Raise your fist high.
Let out your battle cry with pride.
And say.

I’m fightin fightin everyday.
Fightin before I hit the hay.
Because I want to try to make things okay.
And make the ones tryin to bring me down go away.
I know we will never get along.
But for my family’s sake I have to try.
To fight alongside.
The brave and defend the down.

It’ll never be okay.
We refuse to get along.
We will make you go away.
Because we stand strong.

this is kinda weird compared to the verses? and i dont think it should start... i think the first to lines are cliche "wishin'' is overused
but i kinda like the last line of it

'Kids in the projects need some hope.
But they’re surrounded by scary men sellin dope."
this line is tacky
