Im planning to get a Crate Tube amp 2x12" speakers or 1x12" speaker.
My friend had a tube amp and after using it for a while, it stopped working,
I also read a review about a guy's tube amp stopped working cause the wiring burned or something like that.

How often do problems like these happen? (Allowing the tube amp not work anymore)
Is it worth getting a warranty on my amp?
Can you take it to a repair shop and repair it? If so How much is it.

^Pretty much.
Tube amps break down slightly more often than SS amps, but the difference is you can actually fix a tube amp, and easily in most cases. Just get one.

About as often as on solid state amps, it all depends on the quality of the amp.

Probably not IMO. But that's all up to personal choice isn't it?

Repair price depends on the nature of the problem and the complexity of the amp of course. The nice thing about a lot of more simple tube amps is that they are very easy (and cheaper) to repair. No propriatary semiconductors or surface mount electronics like so many SS amps. Of course complex tube amps can still have some pretty damn elaborate electronics. It all depends on the amp.
