I'm interested in purchasing the Bose L1 Model II live amplification system for performances with my band.

I do have an analog mixer, and my drummer has an electric drumset that he could use (although he'd rather not) for live shows.

my question is, will having the mixer hooked up to the Bose speaker (the mixer having a line6 podxt signal, line6 bass pod xt signal, a vocal signal, and an electric drum module signal) sound good? or will this be too much for one speaker?
another option we have is to only use the bass, guitar, and vocal signal on the Bose and have the drummer use his acoustic set.
we play small venues, a good night usually consists of about 50 people

I've seen bands use the L1 system, but they each have one for their own instrument. we don't have that kind of money to blow, we figure either get 1 for all of us or stick to our piece of dirt 20 year old PA system

[quote="'[P|E|R|S|O|N"]']could you use a mic for acoustic drums?

we could purchase a pack of drum mics, but again, i don't want to overload the Bose speaker
