That's the tuner I have. I had a really simple, great tuner, but I lost it. So I went, and bought this one. I'm not sure how to work it, it forces me to tune in Standard, and I need to tune to Drop/D, etc. When I try to tune it, if the 6th string is not an E, it wont show up on the tuner. It wont tell me what it actually is, unless its within E range. How do I get it to show up?

I have that tuner and, as martin said, push the flat button to drop it a semitone, so for drop d push it twice.

I know this doesn't help much, but try, try, try to learn to tune by ear. It's so incredibly easy and quick to tune. A good trick for drop D is to pick your D string and just lower the E to match it.

A little offtopic, but:
try that with a floyd... I'd rather spend 10 minutes tuning instead of an hour.

Alright. Its difficult.

Pressed flat 2 times, and now every string only shows up when its a E?
How do I tune it for.

Second string - If the string goes any lower than A, it stop showing its tune.
Sixth String - It if leaves E, it shows no tune, If its E, is it D? if its dropped twice with the flat button?

With that tuner it should be more like 10 seconds.

that was the first tuner i ever had, they are really easy to work, all you need to do is hit the flat button twice so there are two little "b's" by the letter, and it will tune it to say E A D G B E just because it is a guitar/bass tuner, and not a chromatic tuner
