can any one explain all this to me as i am getting really confused to what it all means.
i understand what true bypass is and that not all pedals have it, but apprently true bypass can be bad. then theres something about buffers and how they change tone?
any help would be much appreciated.
My understanding of true bypass:
When the pedal is turned off it won't effect your sound and it is 'bypassed' and the signal simply carries through to the next pedal un harmed.

Go get the last issue of Guitar Player, there is a big article on pedalboards and stuff. There is also good explanations about true bypass and buffers.
