I want to buy a new guitar and i found them for great price on the net last night, but when talking to a mate about importing guitars from overseas, he had heard that the climate change in importing guitars can warp the neck, in some cases to the point to almost unfixable!!

can anyone verify this fact or would it be a myth???

replies much appreciated guys, thanks...

rule of thumb if the packaging is cold when you get it dont open it or put it next to somehting hot wait for it adjust temp on its own
i moved all my guitars from PA to NM and had no problem and didn't have to reset a thing.
