I think you'd have to check the resistance (if that's what it's called in english, the stuff that is measured in ohm), as I think most bass amps have higher wattage than guitar amps so the cabs might be constructed accordingly.

Should work perfectly fine. It isn't exactly uncommon for guitarists to play through bass amp and/or cabs (Fender Bassman anybody?).

So long as the cab can handle the power of the head and the impedences match up it should be fine.

I put my Road King II through an Ampeg SVT-410HLF on modern with the bass cranked. I will have to say that there were no survivors and I knocked down my house by accident. Now I have to sell all my gear and buy a new house.
